Former Team Members & Career Pathways
At Sohn Orthopaedics, we have a long history of working with students who are serious about a career in medicine.
Employees in our practice gain firsthand exposure to clinical decision-making, procedural care, and patient responsibility in a busy orthopedic and sports medicine setting. Over the years, former employees from our office have gone on to MD, DO, PA, and veterinary medical training programs.

Nima Manavi
Nima Manavi worked as an MA and manager at our office before moving on to medical school at Western Health Sciences University. We are very proud of Nima and expect great things for his future.

Victoria Holm, MD
Victoria Holm worked as a scribe and volunteer with our clinic before being accepted to medical school at California University of Science and Medicine. She chose orthopaedics as her specialty and currently trains at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

Anthony Hanna
Anthony worked with Dr. Sohn and his team at Orthocare Health as a surgery scheduler and medical assistant prior to medical school.

Kimberly worked in Dr. Sohn’s orthopedic practice prior to pursuing formal PA training, an experience that helped shape her interest in surgical medicine and patient-centered care.

As I move toward clinical training, I plan to pursue a career as a surgical PA, with a strong interest in procedure-heavy specialties. Meagan Rowlett
Meagan is a graduate of MIT, where she earned a degree in Biological Engineering. She has gone on to work in clinical medicine and research within the fields of precision medicine and sports medicine.

Patrick Cachola
Patrick worked as a medical assistant with our practice, where he gained early exposure to patient care, clinic workflow, and the day-to-day responsibilities of a busy orthopedic practice. His experience in the office helped inform his decision to pursue advanced clinical training as a physician assistant and to stay involved in mentorship and admissions outreach.

Emily worked at Sohn Orthopaedics prior to entering veterinary medical training, where she gained hands-on exposure to clinical medicine and our use of care pathways.
